Long time, no write! Just wanted to touch on a topic today that has been lingering in my thoughts for a while now. The focus for tonight is going to be how to listen to your heart yet still make the right decisions. To tell you the truth, when I start to write these blog posts down, I really don't let my brain do any work, (other than reading and doing some grammar corrections of course), but rather... I let my heart do all the speaking. Let me start off with something I know that we all go through; Hard times. I think it is important to note that we never will always make the right decision, in other words, we aren't perfect. I think it is also important to know that in any circumstance, you have to pursue what you want the most in life with a positive attitude. Whether it's loving others through missionary work, becoming a vet, or doing whatever makes you happy- God will get you through any situation, even your hardest ones. A quote which I fall upon quite often states, "God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers."- Crazy to think about, I know! That's just one of the amazing parts of God's love though! When he shuts one door, he opens so many others. What you might have thought would've been right in your life, isn't what God might have had in mind for you at the time. The best part about all the new paths that God opens for all of us are that he gives us the opportunity to meet amazing, loving, and caring people. So next time you're thinking about doing something that you don't feel is 100% right, think about the famous, "What would Jesus do" and I promise you'll get through anything (Of course with some guidance!) Anyway I hope you all have an amazing week and know that I'm always here for you!
Love you lots,
